Students build on and consolidate their understanding of historical inquiry from previous years in depth, using a range of sources for the study of the ancient past.

Investigating the ancient past. How historians and archaeologists investigate history, including excavation and archival research

Students investigate ONE of these Asian societies in depth:
China or India
Investigate:
· Physical features
· Roles of key groups
· Significant beliefs and Practices incuding in depth study on ONE of the following:
1. Everyday Life
2. Warfare
3. Death and Funerary Customs
· Contacts and conflicts within and/or with other societies and the spread of Philosophies and beliefs
· The role of a significant individual
